Over the years, Savage Color has built up a team of dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable employees dedicated to customer service and their craft. As you work with us, we trust that you will be able to see this dedication both through your interactions with our employees, and through the excellent product that we provide.
Over many years in printing, Mark has built up a vast knowledge base of the industry, as well as numerous friends in many different companies. When he has a moment off from running Savage Color, Mark enjoys serving on the boards of local theatres, as well as doing sound design for said theatres.
Dan, a Colorado native, is new to the printing industry. But his degrees in Automated Office Technology and Computer Science, along with previous experience as office manager and bookkeeper, make him a welcome addition to the Savage Color team.
Dan is a talented musician who has self-published two jazz CDs, one of which can be listened to on Pandora streaming internet radio. In his free time, Dan enjoys taking walks with his wife Heather, cooking, and doing community volunteer work.
Carlin, a Midwest transplant to Seattle has been here for over 14 years and has no plans of ever leaving. He has been working in the Printing/Mailing industry for over 11 years. Carlin brings a very high level of service to his sales position, working hard to make sure his customers are always taken care of.
Carlin lives with his wife, daughter and one mutt in North Seattle. You will most likely find Carlin working in the garden, hiking with his family or riding horses.
Peter comes to Savage Color via Texas, the entire eastern half of the country, and Bremerton, Washington. After graduating from Abilene Christian University in 2007, he immediately went on to full time acting positions with the National Theatre for Arts and Education, the Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre, and Taproot Theatre Company in quick succession.
In 2009, Peter also found it necessary to have a job that involves a more steady income, and thus chose to join Savage Color’s team. He particularly enjoys working with members of the arts community to provide exceptional materials in a timely manner and within their budgetary needs. Outside of printing and theatre, Peter is an avid vegetable gardener and runs a small beekeeping business, Rainy Day Bees, with his wife.
Kathy, a native Minnesotan, has been working in the manufacturing industry for 20+ years. At Savage Color, Kathy wears many hats, including working in customer service, shipping and mailing. In her free time, Kathy likes to hike, kayak, go camping, and play with her dog Jesse and African grey parrot Tasha. When she’s not at work or play, she is busily fixing up her new house.
Paul Tercero - Pressman
Paul came to Seattle’s printing industry from San Francisco in 1986. He started at Atomic Press and worked at other such prominent printers as Graphicolor, TriGraphics, and Continental before starting at Savage Color in 1993, which was known as Pacific Printing at the time.
Paul has been married to his wife, Cathy, for more years than he cares to remember (although he better remember at least one day a year) and they have one son, George. An avid blues fan, it’s no wonder Paul’s son became a bass player after years of listening to Paul’s collection of music.
In our opinion Paul is the best pressman in town, and we’ve worked with many good ones. You can count on Paul to treat your job with professionalism and the care it deserves.
